Statement on Trump Rally Shooting

A little earlier this evening it appears some shots were fired at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. The former President seems to be okay. We have heard reports of the suspected shooter being dead and another rally attendee in critical condition. Reports are that the shooter fired from outside the event. We don’t know anything else at this time. Engaging in speculation will only do harm. We condemn violence in any form, and we will not tolerate those who support or encourage it. We would like to thank President Biden, and others of all political perspectives who have come out and denounced this horrible and evil act. Once we know more information we hope to update you all further. We share the concerns and fears that all of you do. Please stay calm, gather facts and stay level headed.
