Yeah, I don't buy that innocent unborn human life is equivalent to an adult who has forfeited his right to life by taking the life of another human being. Never bought this argument. They are apples and oranges.
ReplyDeleteWe are just going to have to disagree on this one. My argument is that if we are to consistently promote the value of human life, that we must do so at all stages whether in the womb or as an elderly adult. I do admit that capital punishment is constitutional since that is mentioned in the document. But there is nothing that says that states cannot curtail its use. States already do by limiting what crimes it can be used for.
